P Douglas introduced D McGregor, Lib Dem candidate in the local elections
for this area.
Matters arising:
- The work at Kenlygreen bridge is now complete.
- No news on the new noticeboard.
- No progress on the Neighbourhood watch, reply from PC Anderson still awaited.
- The fund set aside for the footbridge at Dunino is well short of what might be needed. Other sources of funding need to be explored, or alternatively we seek another project for this money.
- The road surface over the bridge near Dunino Church is in need of repair. P Douglas has spoken to Transportation about it.
- A detailed discussion ensued re the Fairmont planning application. Anyone wishing to see our submission should contact Louise.
PLEASE NOTE: since the meeting, the Departure Hearing date for these plans
has been announced for Thurs 5 April, Boarhills Village Hall at 7 pm.
This was the last meeting which our Councillor Peter Douglas will attend
before his retirement. We thank him for all his efforts for the Community
over the years, and wish him well for his retirement.
DATE OF NEXT MEETING
To be arranged, after the elections.
