Minutes of Meeting on Monday 15 January 2007:

Matters arising:
- The damaged bridge parapet at Kenlygreen Lodge is still not repaired.
P Douglas and V Kilgour to liaise over contacts.
- Fairmont St Andrews plans have not been submitted formally yet, so no firm details of the re-design are available.
- Flooding at Cardean. The drains were cleared out recently, and the sand bag arrangement is working adequately.
- Notice board –no progress. LR to ask Les if he could make one.
- The Neighbourhood Watch Scheme is on hold until PC Anderson returns to his desk. Progress with signage likely in February.
- Sunnybraes planning application – nothing further to report.
- The two blue litter bins have been replaced by less conspicuous black ones, at our request.
- Notification of firework displays at Kinkell and Fairmont St Andrews are somewhat haphazard. LR to request a better system from the organisers. If anyone would like direct notification via e mail, please let LR know. Publicity for these events will be put on the notice board.
- A Garden Open Day and Village Barbecue are planned for Boarhills on Sunday 17 June. If anyone would like to open their gardens, please get in touch. The event will raise money for be for the British Heart Foundation and Children First.
- P Douglas introduced E. Jardine who is the Lib Dem candidate for the forthcoming council elections. The new concept of the multiple member wards was outlined.
